Which boat party should I join?

Whilst we remain cautious of the pandemic situation, we are only running one boat cruise  - Budapest Boat Party, as well as special events from our selected partners.

Budapest Boat Party - The long awaited return of Budapest's most famous boat party is here! The night starts from 21:30, with a pre-party at one of Budapest's most famous nightclubs where you will meet other guests the world over, with a well stocked bar to get the night going and some friendly drinking games.

At 22:30, our team of event staff will take you on the short 10 minute walk to the boat where we kick the party up a notch with a 2 hour journey past the splendours of the Danube river banks with unlimited Beer, Wine, Vodka/Rum/Gin+mixers and soft drinks. The cruise will take in all the beautiful landmarks along this UNESCO World Heritage site, including the famous Parliament building, Buda Castle and Chain Bridge, whilst you dance to the live DJ playing a healthy mix of EDM, top 40 and classic throwback tunes.

Then afterwards, stick with our international party guides and they will lead you back to the club for the free afterparty to continue the night until the sun comes up,

Please Note: Guests should arrive at the meeting point before 22:30 to ensure our team can lead the way to the boat.

How much does it cost?

Depending on the boat party you choose, prices vary based on drink packages. Check our BOOK NOW page to see the different prices.

Where does the boat leave from?

Budapest Boat party leaves from Morrisons 2 nightclub, Szent István krt. 11 at 22:30.

Due to the nature of the boat bookings, at present we cannot ascertain the exact docking point until this time. To ensure you arrive, stress free, please meet our team at the pre-party from 21:30 where you will be led on the 10 minute walk to where we will be boarding.

Does the boat cruise?

Yes! Budapest Boat Party sails up and down the Danube for 2 hours passing by the best sights in Budapest. You will see everything between the Margit bridge and the Lágymányosi bridge on our cruise, which includes all of the notable downtown sights of Budapest.

When does it leave?

All attendees are usually boarded by 23:00. Unfortunately, we cannot wait for latecomers, so please ensure you arrive on time to the pre-party.

What currencies are accepted?

We accept either HUF or EUR for your ticket payment. However, the bars on board are cash only and only accept HUF.

Can I buy drinks on board?

The vast majority of the drinks you will want are included in the price of the ticket for Budapest Boat Party. A limited range of premium shots will be available on board for purchase in CASH (HUF Only)

Where does the party end?

Depending on the day, the boat party ends at different locations. No matter where we end, there are taxis and trams nearby. Our staff will also lead everyone to a downtown club for a free after party after the boat party ends. Follow them and you’ll have a great night!

How do I get to the after party?

Our wonderful party staff will guide everyone from the boat to a downtown club for the after party. We ask that once the boat party is over, all guests exit the boat and follow our staff off of the dock where we wait for all of the guests to arrive. Together, we will walk to the club where you will receive free entry. This is usually a 5-15 minute walk!

Where is the after party?

We usually head back to Morrison’s 2 Club after where you enjoy skip-the-line entry and access to the whole complex - however this is subject to change.

Where/when will the photos be uploaded?

We like to capture the moments you don’t want to forget…but might not remember the next day. All photos are uploaded to the PartyBookers Budapest Facebook Page 5-7 days after the event.

How can I get a photo removed from Facebook?

If you message us the link to the photo we will delete it as soon as we can.

I lost something on the boat, how can I get it back?

Lost items are brought to our office the next morning and can be picked up. Feel free to message us on Facebook, e-mail info@budapestboatparty.com or call +36 70 774 4338 to see if we have found your lost item.

What should I wear?

There is no strict dress code on the boat, however the after party will have some limitations. Please wear closed shoes (no thongs/flip-flops) and refrain from any nudity. You can come in a costume/fancy dress on the boat, however we recommend bringing a change of clothes for the after party. We also recommend NOT wearing heels on board (stairs are steep, seating is limited and we walk to the after party).

Are there any pandemic restrictions I need to be aware of?

From Saturday 20th November 2021, it is compulsory to wear a face mask in all shops, malls, museums, theaters, cinemas, public transport and government offices in Hungary. You are not required to wear one on our events, however some bars and venues may have their own rules they will enforce. Please respect these decisions and wear a mask when asked or required.

All events with over 500 guests and nightclubs will require you to show proof of immunity to gain entry. Immunity can be proven with any of the following documentation:

A Hungarian or EU Vaccination Certificate

A Hungarian or EU Recovery Certificate

or a Hungarian or EU Test Certificate taken within the last 72 hours.

Additionally, the Hungarian government also officially recognises immunity certification from many of its non-EU neighbours and trading partners. A full, up to date list can be found HERE
